Subject: Where is everyone ? The sky looks great who
will come and fly with us? |

|
Despite the less than promising
weather forecasts and overnight rain ... the few of us on hand had gliders DI'd by 9.00 am
and were looking skyward and licking our lips with anticipation. |
|

|
| |
| More by co-incidence than through any
form of pre-planning, the flight-line at 06 was made up entirely of single-seaters (SR,
RV, RS and JY) ... it was also the first time that all three K6's have been at the
flight-line together. |
| |

|
| |
| The three musketeers ... (Athos, Aramis
and Porthos?) ... Ka6-Cr Sierra Romeo, ES-KA6 Romeo Victor and ES-KA6 Romeo Sierra. |
| |

|
| |
| View from RV in a thermal over YCAB.
|

 |
| |
| View from SR over Caboolture's Centenary
Lakes (with RV below heading south towards Morayfield Shopping Centre). |
| |

|
| |
| The weather looked threatening from time
to time but no rain ... streets were the order of the day and choosing which ones to
take was the big challenge. The result ... long enjoyable flights including two
"four-hours-plus" flights in SR (Bernard Gonsalves) and RV (Kevin Rodda). |
