Dove with Olive Branch

Normally we would be looking skywards from the ground (or across the sky from the cockpit)  for one of these.

  The YACB regulars this week have been looking out in anticipation through hangar doors for one of these! 

       

 The Old Testament (Book of Genesis 8:11) describes a story in which a dove was released by Noah after the Great Flood in order to find land. The dove came back carrying an olive branch in its beak, proof for Noah that the Great Flood had receded. 

  

February turned out to be the second worst flying month we have experienced in the last seven years.  Very rarely do we have two consecutive sets of Fri/Sat/Sun washed out as we have done this weekend and last weekend ... and the weekend prior to that we only had a few flights on the Friday.    
   

  And it just keeps raining ...
