We emulated the previous Friday’s ‘small is great’ start to the day with Adam Luff joining Arthur Mailey and me to fill the third place as one of Bob’s group for the day.

No sooner had Adam and Bob departed on another training flight than John Ashford joined us in moving the van and one vehicle to 12 where we estimated activity would occur – once it got started.  We got set up on 12 before Adam and Bob headed off again with Adam being surprised by a rope break and landing on 24 so Laurie obligingly towed him off from 06 once again.  We may be a small group but our days are regularly unpredictable - if that makes sense.

The highlight of the day for Adam was his first solo in GYK taking all of 13 mins and ending with a copybook landing.
