Operations Directive 2/09 Pilot Training has been issued.
This
Operations Directive introduces important changes to the GFA pilot training syllabus and
training methods and systems within GFA affiliated Clubs/Organisations.
OD 2/09 also
introduces a new GFA Pilot Certificate – Glider Pilot Certificate (GPC)
It is
accepted that some Clubs may find these changes challenging and difficult to implement.
GFA will closely monitor the implementation over coming months and assistance will be
provided where necessary to assists Clubs and individuals through the transition phase.
