A Clayton's Brunch?

 21-Nov-10

No, it wasn't the "brunch you have when your not having a brunch" ... it was a brunch today to celebrate JC's improved health as well as his recent 80th birthday!

Mick, Garrett and I spent a very enjoyable morning catching up with JC today.

Garrett was going to bring JC to YCAB this weekend but plans were put on hold during the week due to the uncertain weather.

It’s been a while (not since our dual tow practice day) but hopefully he’ll be dropping in soon to make sure we are all still doing it right!

Cheers,

David

The dual tow practice day that David Higgs refers to in his email above was back in April 2010 (before CGC's "Back to Watts Bridge" weekend).

Great to see JC out and about and and on the improve ... no doubt the comb was out and put into good work before the photo was taken!

Yes, JC reached the "80 years of age" milestone on 25-Oct-10 ... he was born in Mildura at 0700 hours on 25-Oct-30.

The "Clayton's Flying Affair" link below provides some interesting details of his lifetime of flying ...
