Arriving
at YCAB around 7:45 am the sky was full of Cums.
Chris
Weir had arrived a bit earlier and was busy
“unwrapping” the Club Libelle GJY
......”Tuggie” Tor McCaul arrived and had SPA
ready in no time.
Being
Duty Instructor for today I set about
“unwrapping” the IS28B2 CQC while Lynette
McCarthy (Acting Duty Pilot as no Club Member had
been Rostered) headed towards Kevin’s Hangar and
had all matters in hand pretty quickly ... Tony
Sorenson arrived to assist and thank goodness he
did as this was now our full extent of members
present.
With Cums
popping everywhere Chris Weir took off at 9:40 am
in GJY returning 3 hours 26 minutes later at 1:06
pm ... Tony Sorenson jumped into CQC at 10:42 am
for a 44 minute flight ... with no students, I
decided to take CQC next at 11.46 am and managed
50 minutes.
Tony did
a Hangar flight at 1.46 pm and scored exactly 1
hour before we called it a day just after 3.00 pm.
Total
Statistics for the day were:-
GJY
2 flights
3 hours 46 minutes
CQC
4 flights
2 hours 50 minutes
...........
............................
6 Flights
6 hours 36 minutes

Many
thanks to our “Tuggie” Tor McCaul and to
Lynette for stepping-in to cover the Duty Pilot
role.
For the
Maintenance Crew.....the radio in CQC (since
Friday) appears to be receiving but not
transmitting.
For the
Friday Crew.....cars will all need re-fuelling.
