Unperturbed,
I headed for Caboolture and about half way up the
Bruce Highway it started to look ominous ...

YCAB the rain was heavy and relentless

Facing
a waterlogged airfield, David's 8:15 am email to
members said ...
"A very localised rain cell
has flooded the airfield. Heavy rain and new lakes
have made conditions 'less than ideal'. Flying
postponed until Mick leads the way tomorrow".

Speedy arrived in
time to join us for McSecond Breakfast. All was not lost
however with Speedy and I spending a few hours
sanding some more paint and corrosion off the
IS-30's fuselage.
