Evening all and apologies for the late report.

Sunday was an example of a typical and expected May day in SEQ I believe,
the sun was shining and the wind wasn't too bad (especially for those
flying last weekend). I arrived a little late, like the good duty pilot I
am to find Yankee Kilo and Quebec Charlie DI'd and ready to go! Our crew
consisted of Garrett Russell as Duty Instructor, Chris Weir AEI/welder,
Mike Matthews flying the Cessna 180 and Lindsay Mitchell an additional
helping hand for the day!

After replacing a plug in the Cessna, first flight of the day was Chris and
passenger John launching from 12 at 1132. Damien and Garrett managed 3
training flights in Yankee Kilo whilst Chris was taking up his second
passenger for the day Carl Evers. Alan Graham also enjoyed a leisurely 44
minute flight with some ballast by the name of Lindsay, impressing some of
us with his greased on landing, I reckon you knocked the top off a few
blades of grass before settling down Alan, very nice. I also saw Speedy
launch his K6 in search of some lift, but I think he was a tad to early and
landed on 06 20 minutes later.

Garrett and Demy Schinkel, a young glider pilot visiting from Holland
achieved the flight of the day at 49 minutes in the Blanik! Demy seemed to
have enjoyed her flight thoroughly and we might be seeing more of her at
the airfield in the coming months. Moving into the evening as the sea
breeze blew in Garrett and Dave Crocker did some circuit bashing without
instruments and I did my best to not beat the tug back to the ground. All
in all a great days flying, thanks to everyone for their efforts.

Flight stats:
GYK: 1hr & 51mins @ 7 flights
CQC: 2hr & 22mins @ 4 flights
GSR: 20mins @ 1 flight
