Persson apparently mentioned to Bernard
"Speedy" Gonsalves recently that the
elevators looked a bit sad on XQ, particularly since
it has recently had a major "re-life"
overhaul including the required Llewellyn
modifications. So without any fuss, Speedy has
taken the elevators from the new container where XQ is
stored and has re-sprayed them.
I "caught"
him late this afternoon on his way to return the
finished product to the container (refer photo of XQ's
freshly painted elevators in the back of Speedy's
van).
Thought I should
"sound Speedy's trumpet" as he is
definitely not the type of guy to "sounds his
own trumpet".
Well
done Speedy, and on behalf of all CGC members, much
appreciated!
