How’s this for consistent flight times:

That’s what you get when you launch the same
glider to more or less the same height into the
same largely lift-free sky.
Flights one and two were down to Kevin Rodda
flying his sister Anne McMaster and brother Ted
Rodda.
Three and four were AEFs flown by Neil Muspratt
for two very happy passengers.
Five was duty instructor Peter Stephenson giving
his power pilot friend Duck Buzzacott a taste of
gliding.
Six was Tony Sorensen and Garrett Russell taking
IKW back from RWY12 to the tie downs at 06.
So we’re a fairly consistent bunch when it comes
to sled rides from 3,500’ (3,000’ for the last
and shortest).
But the other consistent characteristic was that
every one of us had a great time on every one of
those flights.
Thanks to Tony Esler and Karl Bodi for launching
us, and Speedy for another day sanding and
painting the IS-30 while the rest of us played
around in the blue.
And here’s to less consistent days as we get
into more of our usual winter flying in June!
Finally, a mystery object seen in Kevin’s hangar
this afternoon. Can you identify it and tell us
precisely where it’s located?
