0ne long flight Sunday

23-Nov-14

Peter Stephenson's 8.09 am email from YCAB ...

Chris Weir hard at work under a thermal full sky! Come and use them!

And his report ...

We did outscore yesterday, but only in time.

Soon After the photo was taken, Chris Weir hopped in the IS-28 and was nearly 90 minutes from 1 3300' launch.

Alan Graham's friend turned up but did not want to fly as she was suffering from the night before, and the rest of us were blown away by the sea-breeze that came in exceedingly early. :-( :-(

There were no students or AEF's so we packed up up and were a sad bunch putting the IS-28 away.

At least Chris Weir had a well deserved flight after all his hard work on the Libelle's trailer which is almost ready bar the 100 odd rivets still required. :-)

Thanks to the full crew, Neil Schaefer in the Tug, Neil Muspratt as AEI and Alan Graham as Duty Pilot (pictured above).
