Hi
All,
Crew
for the day was yours truly as a AEI, Theo Mus as
Duty Pilot, Tor McCall as Tug (he normally tows in
Kingaroy), Peter Stephenson as L2.
Ken
Mitchell also dropped in for an Annual Check
flight but wisely decided against flying as he was
feeling very under the weather.
Very
low number of flights today (4 ) … 1 check
flight for Theo followed by a solo and a text book
landing…nice one Theo.
My
AEI was a delightful 80 yr gentleman who brought
out his extended family that required 2 cars to
shuttle them around. Unfortunately the best I
could manage on his flight was 25 mins.
Shortly
after midday we could see Cu’s starting to pop
so I hopped into the blanik for the last
flight of the day…I tempted fate & threw
down the challenge to the crew of “I’ll see
you in a hour”
The
view from the blanik was taken shortly after 2pm
& just before I pulled the airbrakes out to
come down… concluding a 1hr 20 m flight which
could of easily been longer. The only reason I
came down was because I was conscious of the crew
sitting on the ground waiting for me so they could
go home!
Great
day & you should have been there to enjoy it
with us!
