Sunday started off slow then built up to an almost full flight sheet if there were more hours in the day there could have easily been 20+ flights.

The day started with check flights for Dave Guzzwell, Dave Griffiths and I under the watchful tutelage of JC and Tony Sorenson with Steve Bowtell taking charge of SPA flying duties.

Mike McCluskey took care of AEF duties taking one drop-in and Tim Williams' mother Shelly for scenic introductory flights. Garrett also had some fun taking a couple of family friends for flights.

Flight of the day (not based on time)  goes to Tim Williams for a flawlessly executed touch and go whilst under tow * ... while the longest flight goes to Mike at 46min in CQC during his first AEF of the day.

* Note from John Clayton: While Tim carried out a flawless decent behind the tug, followed by a touch and go, he was flying under the guidance of his instructor.

There was also a notable addition to Sundays flight-line with GJY (the Club Libelle) brought out of the trailer to find its new temporary home and sexy pyjamas in the club's tie down area. Mick had the privilege of taking GJY for its first flight in many months. (Thanks to all who assisted in preparing the Libelle).

The days stats:

Flights             time

CQC    11                    3:10

GYK   5                      1:33

GJY     1                      0:17
