Apologies for the late report, I won't bore you with
my excuses.
Arriving at YCAB around 0815, it was just Garrett,
Garrett and Garrett (Garrett Russell - Duty
Instructor) ) busy preparing the day's operations.
We had a quick chat on what we thought the day
would entail and continued to DI CQC. Shortly
after Theo Mus Jacob Mason, Steve Chapman (Tug
Pilot), Neil Muspratt (Air Experience Instructor)
and Karl Bodi all arrived, so GYK was unwrapped
and DI'd also.
First flight of the day was Theo in GYK with
Garrett from 06 followed by our first passenger of
the day Mike Vincent with Neil in CQC. There were
two AEF's Saturday, both flights exceeding an hour
in duration leaving two happy passengers who
definitely got their money's worth. Nice one Neil.
The rest of the day consisted of some training
flights, currency check flights (including myself)
and two flights from Speedy (Bernard Gonsalves) in
the Kookaburra. Oh and Karl was kind enough to
relieve Steve of flying the tug, only to Steve
jump in the Blanik and fly behind SPA.
All in all it was productive day at YCAB with
two happy passengers, a bunch of training flights,
some real "stick and rudder" flying for
myself and a keen potential AEF that Steve found
whilst refuelling (hopefully for the coming
weekend).
Cheers,
