Barry McCarthy celebrated his 1500th flight at Caboolture Airfield today.

Quite fittingly, it was another training flight from the back seat of  Blanik GYK (with one of our latest batch of trainee pilots Jessica Bellamy up front). 

Well done Barry!  

From amongst those 1500 flights, there would no doubt be many interesting stories to be told and friendships to recall ... as well as  many grateful trainees who started their flying careers in gliders at Caboolture and are still enjoying their flying thanks to Barry's training flights.
