Hi all.

Sunday's flying report as derived from my memory of events (expect gaps).

Today's Duty Crew were met early by Steve Bowtell to discuss the recent return to operation of our tug SPA.  While rostered Tuggie Mike Grady continued discussions with Steve, the rest of us began other preparations for the day's expected activities.

Duty AEI Chris Weir prepared CQC for first a passenger flight and later a friend, Duty Instructors David Higgs and Mick Moloney managed GYK (Thanks again to Bert and "Speedy" for the quick return to service), and I loaded up the Pie Cart.  While this was happening, new members Daniel Chrzanowski (an easy name to remember once you've got it right) and Rachael ______ (memory gap - sorry) arrived and proceeded to assist with GYK's DI.

Wind direction dictated the use of rwy 30 to start, however, by the end of the day you could have been forgiven for using 06.

By the time we had the Pie Cart set up and aircraft in place, Chris' passenger James Norris (that one was a stretch, and still I can't remember Rachael's surname
[Barnes]) had arrived.  Chris promptly launched and evidently found lift as we didn't see him back for over an hour.  Meanwhile, Rachael and Daniel flew training flights in GYK before they had to leave at about 12:30.

Chris' expected friends arrived in time to see him land CQC and Lucas (I think?) was looking forward to a decent flight as James received his AEF certificate.  The difference between Chris' first and second flight turned out to be just a couple of minutes at 1:15 and 1:12.  GYK's stats were somewhat different at 0:28, 0:26 and finally 0:20 as Mick and David flew back to the tie down area.

I don't recall what time it was that we were packed up and heading home but it was a relatively early finish.
