We only had five flights today which was a bit surprising considering all the glider pilots on the field on a Saturday and there were thermals to be had!

 
The first one was me taking a 30 mins AEF from 3500' ... flown mainly by a new prospective member Abby Rattan who should be back on the field tomorrow. He is a natural pilot and thinking about transferring over from ultralights so please make him especially welcome. 

The second flight and fourth flights were me with that character David Crocker who has been grounded for two years by a fight with the big C.  

The third was an annual check for Chris Weir and he took Dave Crocker up for the fifth as ballast.

All up we only had 1hr and 42 mins in the air, but we had fun.

Conditions for Sunday should be much better!
