early arrivals were Steve Bowtel and Tony
Sorenson tending to SPA, followed by myself,
Chris Weir, Theo Mus, Alan Graham and Jacob
Mason (who is interested in flying at CGC more
often and to be converted to fly the IS-28).
With
the Blanik and the IS-28 ready, the first flight
was from RWY 12 (being one of three in a row in
the Blanik with Steve Bowtell and
Theo Mus),
Bert
Person took off from 06 in his Atlas followed shortly
after by Speedy in his K14 .
Alan
Graham launched in
the Blanik for a short flight in blue sky.
Five
launches in the Blanik for a total of 1 hr 23
min (including a 50 min mutual flight with Chris
Weir and my self).
Two
launches in the IS-28 with
a total flight time of 38 mins (Steve Bowtell and
Jacob Mason).
No
sign of the AEF passenger.
