The day started off with light rain/drizzle and finished with a heavy rain shower but the small group including Instructors Barry McCarthy/Tony Sorenson, “Tuggies” for the day John Ashford/Karl Bodie, AEI Lindsay Mitchell, Chris Weir and Cadets Member Jason Humrich decided to “hang-in” and in total we managed six flights.

 

 

Jason continued his training, Lindsay flew our two AEI Passengers whilst Chris and Tony searched in vain for lift.

 

 

No great statistics given the weather conditions but our sole Blanik-L13 managed 2 hours 06 minutes in the air with the longest flight from 4500 feet of 29 minutes.

 

 

Our Club Libelle is now in Kevin’s hangar with Lindsay starting it’s Form 2 tomorrow.....hopefully it will be back in the air this Friday to add to our Flight Line.
