After a final sanding and wipe down of the fuselage a gleaming white coat of
paint was applied. Unfortunately the Bernard quality control inspection
picked up some irregularities in the final finish due to {insert technical
chemical contamination terminology here} and some rework and
re-spraying was required.
We left the expert in the late afternoon with at least an hour's work to go
and lunch a distant wish. At least priorities were in order today with
Speedy's time devoted to a more important lady in his life.
It's been a fantastic job from all who have put in time and effort working
on the glider so far.
