Friday Flying Washout

This
morning two dogs and a dozen people huddled in
Kevin’s hangar to shelter from the rain falling on
the airfield. Some of them (the people, not the
dogs) had driven up to Caboolture under clearing
skies.
So
we waited and chatted and waited until the breadth
and depth of puddles outside the side door convinced
us that no matter how quickly the sky cleared, there
would be no glider flying at YCAB today.
If
the rain eases and the wind continues as forecast,
the field should dry out enough for much better
flying days tomorrow and Sunday!
