Firstly my apologies for the late report. As beautiful a day as Saturda was, it was relatively uneventful on the gliding front.

Aside from L2 Dave Donald, AEI Rod Wilson, Tug Pilot Steve Chapman and myself, no members turned up to take advantage of the blue skies. However
between our L2 and AEI there were 3 friend/family flights planned for the ay. After CQC was DI'd and the mini-piecart (read: Barina) was prepared we headed down to RWY30 for start flying. Nick Sheahon also made a mid-morning appearance for a chat after some flying in his own in the Piper Cub.

After Dave Donald and Rod Wilson both had their first passenger flights for the day, a tail wind began to pick up, and a move to RWY12 was organised where Speedy joined us for a pre-lunch launch. Rod Wilson flew his second passenger as the final flight for the day, and all operations were finished by lunchtime.

Stats for the day:

CQC     3 launches     1hr 08mins

It's nice to finally see some nicer weather around YCAB, let's hope we can all get some flying in before the spring/summer rains arrive!

See you at the field
