Hi
All
Finally
getting to matters gliding.
Saturday
was a text book Autumn day at Caboolture.
Duty
crew of yours truly as duty instructor, Neil
Muspratt taking care of Air Experience flights,
Rod Wilson looking after Ops and Steve Chapman in
charge of aerial transport.
John
Nestor joined us for some Libelle time and was
rewarded with two very respectable flights.
Looking very comfortable in the Belle is John.
Well done.
The
two AEFs were a father son team. Dad having some
previous flight experience and son on his very
first flight. Result? Both had an absolute ball
and we look forward to seeing them at some time in
the future. Thanks Neil.
David
Higgs also popped in with friend Tracey for a
surprise birthday flight which also went well.
Duty
pilot Rod Wilson and I took the opportunity for a
25min mutual flight during which we had a ball.
I’ve always been a fan of mutual flights. You
halve your costs and learn from each other. Win
Win all the way. Thanks Rod.
Last
but not least, our CFI took a late AEF for an
enjoyable flight and we hope Leo will be back as a
member.
Thanks
Steve for towing us around the skies and my
personal apologies for not being at the hangar to
help you.
All
of the above came from just 7 flights on a
beautiful lift rich day. We had a glider sitting
on the ground waiting for you.
Winter
produces some of the best soaring conditions of
the year at YCAB. So get in amongst it folks!
Thanks
to everyone for a safe flying day and I look
forward to seeing you all at the field soon.
