Today
proved to be another hot day, unfortunately without
much lift. We were also without many members
today….maybe a legacy of a busy footy weekend.
We
had only 3 flights in all and took only the IS30 out ,
initially to 30 but later the light winds reversed and
we moved to 12.
In
charge as L2 was Tony Sorensen. Dan Kershaw was Tuggie
and Lindsay Mitchell came along for one AEI in between
working on the Twin.
Alan
Graham went up with myself for a Rear Seat check in
the IS30 and later took his partner`s friend up for a
flight which she enjoyed despite admitting to some
nerves.
Lindsay
took a lady up for an AEF and all flights were around
20-30 mins with very little lift and quite a hot
breezeless day.
Thanks
to Alan for pitching in with extra duties as we had no
DP and also to Dan Kershaw who helped with moving the
pie cart gear despite being Tuggie for the day.
Thanks
also to Tony for standing in for Barry as L2
supervisor despite staying on Terra Firma all
day.
When
we are down members we all have to pitch in.
Yesterday
I was delivered a little girl grandchild by my
daughter ... and Lindsay tells me the Wallabies beat
England.
Lets
hope tonight goes well.
I
am barracking for Queensland!
See
you at the field.
