From Kevin Roden's report on gliding operations at Caboolture for Saturday 01-Sep-12:

"On his first solo, Tim Williams did an exceptional job doing a text book take-off from 30 with a perfect landing on 12, following another wind change. After celebrating his 15th birthday last weekend, Tim takes over the position as the clubs youngest pilot".

Tim is the 2012 recipient of the GQ President's Scholarship. Good to see that he has made such great use of the support from Gliding Queensland to reach this milestone in his aviation career. He has also become a popular and productive member of the Caboolture Gliding Club.
