IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM CAC PRESIDENT |

| Today, our clubhouse was severely damaged by fire. The eastern end of the building in the vicinity of the bar was internally damaged as is the roof structure. Insurance, fire, and police forensic investigators are yet to complete their examination of the scene. The electrical supply to the building has been cut, and will not be reconnected for some months. The building will need complete rewiring. That means the pump that empties the sewerage tank cannot function. The toilets have been boarded up and are not available until further notice. I ask all members to refrain from using any part of the clubhouse. I shall keep you all informed of developments when I am able to do so. | |||||
