At the Club's AGM tonight, the recognition and honour of Life Membership was bestowed upon Bert Persson and Tony Sorensen.  

Over many years Bert Persson has been a major contributor to the maintenance and inspection of the Club's fleet of gliders and tugs. Bert is also a Life Member of the Alice Springs Gliding Club.

Tony Sorensen has provided many years of service as our  Tugmaster. He has been rewarded for his leadership of the Club's tug pilots and his dedication to the custodianship and maintenance of our tugs.
