24-Jun-09: Bert Persson in the final stages of GRV's Form 2 checks.

25-Jun-09: Bert with Bernard "Speedy" Gonsalves - fitting the main spar pins.

25-Jun-09: Too wet to fly so plenty of helpers including Speedy, Steve Bowtell, Nathan Bowtell and Trevor Mills.

26-Jun-09: Bert with "Bushy" Bill Wheatley ... final adjustments to aileron, rudder, elevator and air brake controls.

26-Jun-09: Phew no need for plans B or C  ... even when fully rigged GRV fits in Hangar 22 behind FQZ (the Grob G109B Motorglider). 27-Jun-09: GRV is ready to fly and waiting patiently for the water-logged surrounds of YCAB's runways to dry out. The results of Bushy's efforts are obvious in the shine!
