| Blanik "BJ" is back in the air |

| Major projects such
as the Annual Inspection of an aging L13 Blanik take many, many manhours. in a gliding
club environment this workload falls upon members like Lindsay Mitchell, Vince Everett and
Eric Dickeson who continually volunteer their time and effort without seeking recognition
or praise. However they deserve it! |

| In the case of BJ,
this year's annual inspection included the even more demanding "30 yearly"
inspection. Vince and Eric in particular very much deserve our recognition and thanks for
their huge efforts. To quote John Ashford ... "well done to the efforts of our maintenance crew ... a big
job with little recognition".

| Many thanks also to
their many helpers from time to time along the way ... including but not limited to Bert
Persson, Bernard "Speedy" Gonsalves, "Bushy" Bill Wheatley, Trevor
Mills, Kevin Rodda and Lindsay Mitchell. |
